Open https://portal6.passportindia.gov.in; and click on Register. A tab down will open.

Select Embassy/Consulate as Croatia-Zagreb. Fill in all the other details to create your account and click on register at the bottom in the end. Please remember your login ID as you will need it later to log in to your account.

An account activation link will be sent to your email ID.

Open your email ID and click on the activation link, enter your email ID & click on activation below. Your account will be successfully created after this.

Now open the https://portal6.passportindia.gov.in again and click on User log in. Please log in using the User ID created by you during the registration step.

After successful log in, applicant’s home page will open. Please choose the service you need to apply for.

If you are applying for renewal/re-issue of passport. Please click on Apply for Ordinary Passport.

Please click on Re-issue of passport and select your Re-issue reason. Select Type of Application as Normal and Type of Passport Booklet as 36 pages or 60 pages. Click on next.

 Please fill all the details and do final submit and take a print out of your application. Don't use Special characters while entering details in the Online Registration form.

NB: Please note that Passport is made on the basis of entries made by an applicant in the online form. Therefore, ensure that all entries in the online form are correct.

Note- In the application, there are two addresses (i.e. Passport Printable address and Other address), one has to be an Indian address, while other local (i.e. Croatian) address. 

• Fees

Fee is payable only in cash at the reception counter of the Embassy while submitting the application.

Passport fees once deposited shall not be refunded.

2. Submission of Application and following documents at Embassy :

 (i) The above printed application form;

 (iii) Original Indian Passport (which is expiring) along with self-attested photocopy of front and last page of the passport;

(iv) Two photographs with white background (2x2 inch). Requirements for photograph can be checked here.

(v) Self-attested copies of the following documents: Valid Visa copy to confirm status of stay in Croatia, residence permit copy along with the original. In case of Minors, copy of passport and residence permit of both parents.

(vi) In case of lost passport- Police Report, in original, with passport number to be submitted.

(vii) Filled in Annexure- F (Click here).

(viii) If seeking change of address in the renewed passport, please bring an address proof such as utility bill, bank statement, aadhar card, voter ID card or driving licence etc, showing your name.

(ix) A No objection Certificate from your employer.

(x) For any change in personal particulars, please attach relevant supporting document.

Document submission time: Monday to Friday between 9:00am and 11.30 am. (Except holidays)*

Processing Time:

Passports will be issued only after receipt of clear Police Verification Report (PVR) from India. The verification may take up to 30 days or more. Thus, everyone is advised to apply for passport well in advance considering the time required in issuing the same.

3. Collection Procedure for New or Renewed Indian Passports:

Passports may be collected from the Embassy, on receipt of Embassy’s intimation email. Renewed passport may be collected from the Embassy. Please bring your receipt for collection.
