Ambassador Arun Goel met on the 17th December the Zagreb City Museum Headmaster Mrs. Aleksandra Berberih Slana. The Zagreb City Museum is a general cultural and historical important city museum that systematically collects and processes objects from the city's past.
Ambassador Arun Goel visited the Muzej-Museo Lapidarium in the City of Novigrad on the 1st of December and met with Ms. Jerica Ziherl, Director of the Museum Lapidarium, where recently the 3-month-long celebration "Indian Summer in Istria" took place. The ambassador was pleased to see the increasing cultural connections between India and Croatia in general and with Novigrad in particular.
Ambassador Arun Goel was received by Morena Smoljan Makragić, Director of Tourism Office Vodnjan-Dignano: Grad priča - Città da raccontare, while visiting Olive growers from the Oleum Maris company who won several gold medals for the varietal oils. Mayor of the City of Pula, Filip Zoričić hosted a reception in the Communal Palace for Ambassador Arun Goel on Friday, 29th November. In the continuation of the meeting, both officials also discussed the possibilities of future cooperation in the field of culture and ways of exchanging experiences and examples of good practice in areas of mutual interest. After the reception, Ambassador Goel met with the Director of the Tourist Board of the City of Pula, Sanja Cinkopan Korotaj, after which, he visited the Roman amphitheatre, built over 2000 years ago, and other historical sights of Pula.
Commemorating the Constitution Day oF india. Ambassador Arun Goel and Mission officials read out the Preamble of the Constitution of India during the celebrations of the Constitution Day on the 26th November & reaffirmed the commitment to uphold the ideals of Justice, Liberty, Equality & Fraternity.
Ambassador Arun Goel met with Mrs. Iva Bencun, Director of the Zadar City Tourist Board and discussed a wide range of topics, including the annual gathering during the IDY celebration at the Monument to the Sun, in Zadar. The Ambassador also contributed to the Tourist Board a Traditional Indian scarf.
On Friday, November 22, 2024, H.E. Ambassador Constantin-Mihail Grigorie received Ambassador Arun Goel, on his inaugural visit. During the visit to the RACVIAC headquarters in Rakitje Ambassador Goel became more familiar with the Organization’s operations and personnel. Ambassador Goel thanked RACVIAC-Centre for Security Cooperation for its contributions and praised the Organization’s efforts to strengthen resilience and promote efficient security cooperation among South East European countries

Ambassador Arun Goel visited the City of Senj on the 9th of November. During his stay in Senj, the Ambassador visited the Nehaj fortress with his hosts, under the expert guidance of Prof. Blaženka Ljubović, director of the Senj City Museum. On that occasion, he was introduced to the permanent setting of the fortress and the rich and famous history of the City of Senj.
Ambassador Arun Goel has visited the island of Krk, and met the Friend of India, Mrs. Svjetlana Vrkljan Radovčić (Svjetlana Surya), a Yoga and Ayurveda teacher. She has also forwarded the greetings by the Tourist Boards of Punat and Krk. The Ambassador emphasized the beauty of Krk, especially while exploring the islet of Košljun, the warmth & friendliness of the people, and praised the IDY celebrations at which the Island of Krk is participating in the last decade.
Ambassador Arun Goel met with Ivan Gojmerac, Director of the Kino Edison Karlovac o the 8th November. During the discussion, Ambassador Goel highlighted the popularity of Indian cinema due to its unique storytelling and diverse genres, while familiarizing himself with the wide scoop of activities of the Kino Edison. Mr. Gojmerac stated that the City of Karlovac is looking forward to hosting the 2nd edition of the month of the Indian movies cycle in February 2025

Ambassador Arun Goel gave on the 30th October an introductory speech during the session "Mahatma Gandhi & Stjepan Radić Gandhi’s Legacy in Post-independence India" organized by the Croatian Indian Society at the Cultural Centre Napredak.
Mayor of the City of Dubrovnik, Mato Franković, received the Ambassador of India, Arun Goel, during his inaugural visit to Dubrovnik, during which he also attended the central celebration of the UNESCO World Heritage Year in Dubrovnik on October 26.
