Ambassador Srivastava visited Međimurje County, the northernmost and one of the most economically progressive regions of Croatia.

He met with County Prefect Matija Posavec, Mayor of Donji Kraljevec municipality Miljenko Horvat, as well as representatives from prominent Croatian companies with long history - Tehnix and Ferokotao, the Međimurje County Tourist Board, and the Dr. Centar dr. Rudolfa Steinera. Among the many topics discussed were the strengthening of economic and cultural relations, Indian talent and skill development programmes, and the upcoming visit of the Međimurje County delegation to India, planned for September this year.

Celebrating the 77th Anniversary of Independence Day of India, Ambassador Raj Kumar Srivastava hosted a Reception in Zagreb in which 200 guests including dignitaries from the Croatian Parliament, Ministries and Institutions, Diplomatic Corps, Croatia-India Friendship Societies and Indian community members participated.
The Embassy of India, Zagreb Celebrations of the 77th Anniversary of the Independence Day of the Republic of India, was celebrated at the Embassy of India, Zagreb premises with a Flag Hoisting Ceremony followed by singing of the National Anthem, after which the reading of “Address to the Nation” of the Hon’ble President of India by Ambassador took place. After the message, a showcase of the Exhibition “Partition Horrors Remembrance Day” was organised during which were played India's Patriotic songs.

Ambassador Srivastava was received by the Croatian Ministry of Science, Education and Youth Mr. Radovan Fuchs to discuss about strengthening of the India-Croatia ties in the field of Science and Education.
The Croatian-Indian Society celebrated its 30th anniversary, and one of the important pillars in the creation of programs, topics and guests, and the host of numerous events, was Napredak Cultural Center in Zagreb.
Ambassador Srivastava was invited for the closing ceremony of the 3rd International Folklore Festival COFA which took place in Varaždin and Varaždin County, but also in Međimurje County from July 7 to 12 this year.
The third day of the "Flavors of the World" festivity travelled to India, and taught the attendees that a man can change his destiny with his persistence. The special day on India also showcased a "Happy Rangoli" workshop - where the participants made "Rangoli", a traditional Indian design that brings happiness and prosperity, while, the children brought home cheerful Rangoli that will surely bring them happiness.
As part of the "Summer of India in Istria" project, organized by the Lapidarium Museum in the city of Novigrad in cooperation with the Indian Embassy in Zagreb, on July 5 an independent exhibition by Mithu Sen, one of the most famous contemporary Indian artists, opened in the Lapidarum Museum in Novigrad. The name of Sena's exhibition "Shadows.
The International Folklore Festival in the City of Karlovac, hosted the Indian Council For Cultural Relations Theater Group Roopvani and presented to the audience the 3C's of India - Culture, Costumes and Cuisine. While, the groups presented concepts of dharma (righteousness), karma (action), devotion, and the human experience on the closing of the festival on the 6th of July.
64th annual Sibenik Children’s Festival Međunarodni dječji festival Šibenik - Hrvatska hosted the Indian Council For Cultural Relations supported Dance Theatre Group Roopvani from Varanasi, India. Children & their parents witnessed MAGIC (Mystical, Artistic, Grand, Intriguing, & Culturally rich) performance of a key story u see the Indian Epic Ramayan - The worship of power goddess by Lord Ram to become empowered for the war of virtue over vice, good over evil. A group from oldest city (Varanasi) on the planet performed at the oldest city (Sibenik) of Croatia.
The Indian Council For Cultural Relations 8—Member Ramayana Theatre Group - Roopvani led by Vyomesh Shukla performed at the start of the Croatian tour at the "Indian Summer in Istria" festivity on 2nd July in the city of Novigrad. The Theatrical play inspired by the Indian Epic "Ramayana" describes the life and heroic deeds of the god Rama and his devoted wife Sita.
The way India won this World Cup, shows that hard work pays off. The perseverance, focus, team spirit, self-confidence, & talent all defined Team India’s performance. This wasn’t “Cricket by chance” at all, it was “Cricket by class”. This is #NewIndia.
Ambassador Srivastava paid a visit to the University of Zadar where he was received by the rector of the University of Zadar, prof. Ph.D. Josip Faričić, vice-rector prof. Ph.D. Zvjezdan Penezić and head of the Department of Archeology Associate Professor Ph.D. Dario Vujević.
During his visit to the City of Zadar, Ambassador Srivastava was received by Mr. Mladen Pešić, Director of the International Centre for Underwater Archaeology in Zadar and discussed several possible initiatives in the field of Maritime cooperation between India and Croatia.
