H.E. Ambassador Mr. Raj Kumar Srivastava made a presentation at ICT (Information & Communication Technology) Society Forum on Digital Economy organised by Institute for European and Globalization Studies (IEgS), Zagreb in Josip Juraj Strossmayer University of Osijek, Faculty of Economics, on developing a synergy between robust digital innovation ecosystems in India and Croatia. Ambassador also met with Deputy Mayors of Osijek Dr. sc. Dragan Vulin and Ms. Jasenka Crnkovic. Ms. Jasenka and Ambassador placed a floral wreath with "INDIA@75" designed on it with flowers in front of the 130-year-old statue of Sakuntala, a character from Kalidas's 1500 years old epic - established here in the Park named after her in 1890 in Osijek to recognize her as the mother of the most powerful king Bharata at a time when Osijek was at peak of its strategic and economic power - marking this event as a launch for India@75 celebrations in Osijek.
